Warranty Claims and Repair Requests Policy

If you bought a new scooter or motorsport product from us which includes a warranty and you believe you need to make a warranty claim for a part you believe to be covered, here are the steps you will need to follow.
 

  1. Go to our website and send us an email along with pictures or video of the problem and a copy of your bill of sale containing the warranty information.

  2. Our Administrator will respond with questions that need to be answered by you as soon as possible.

  3. Once you answer those questions, we will forward the information to our mechanics. Our management team also receives a copy of all repair requests so there is no need to contact our management team by phone about the problem. Our policy is to maintain a paper trail or written record as a matter of accuracy.
    Therefore our management team is not allowed to use any other method outside of our policy herein to resolve a warranty or repair issue.
    This policy is also to make sure that all communications are documented, all concerns are addressed in a timely manner and all customers are treated fairly and equally.

  4. You are welcome to have another scooter shop or dealer do a diagnostic of the problem. We do not pay for such diagnostics. Also, if you choose to work on it yourself, and you are not a trained scooter mechanic, you will void your warranty.

  5. Continuing to use the part that is not working properly will also void your warranty, if the warranty applies.

  6. Your request will be addressed in the order it was received.

  7. If we determine the problem may be a potential manufacturer's defect covered by warranty, we may recommend a mechanic or repair shop for you to take your vehicle to for diagnostics or inspection.

  8. If it is determined your repair is not covered by warranty, you will be responsible for the diagnostic charges.

After you have provided the necessary documentation for us to assess your concern, we will respond within 24 hours. From that point it will be a minimum of 3 to 5 business days (not including Saturdays and Sundays) before we can look at all of the evidence and make an assessment or recommendation.

Please keep in mind that as your bill of sale states, you have checked the entire powersport product and everything was working properly at the time you took possession of the vehicle. We have no way of knowing what happens after that.

 

Guarantees: 

There are no expressed, written nor implied guarantees beyond that which is presented to the seller at the time of purchase in writing. We do guarantee that all products represented as new will in fact be new at the time of transfer to the buyer.

Riding Laws and Ordinances:

All buyers are responsible for knowing the laws, local ordinances, rules and guidelines of their city, county and state regarding any permits, licensing, insurance, required safety equipment, practices or otherwise needed elements to ride on the streets and highways. All buyers are encouraged to therefore know and comply with such guidelines. ScooterMania Motorsports Incorporated does not accept any liability in these areas.

Pricing:

No pricing is guaranteed without a deposit to hold that item. Pricing of all products sold may change without notice when there is no deposit already received by ScooterMania Motorsports Incorporated.

Delivery Policy:

We make a strong effort to earn your business and provide additional services above and beyond the average dealer. We must also protect our interests, time and expenses.

 

We will deliver any motorsports item we sell within 20 miles of the Atlanta area for a fee of $49. Additional fees apply for outside of the 20 mile area and are based on quotes at that time.

No motorsports scooters, motorcycles nor ATVs can be delivered without a minimum pre-paid, non-refundable delivery fee of $25-$100, Any deposit required will be deducted from the total balance when the customer purchases the item.

 

If the customer decides not to buy the item, the delivery fee can be deducted from the deposit, and the remainder of the deposit will be returned to the customer at that time.

All sales are final. Delivery is available in the Metro Atlanta area for a fee to be quoted at that time. No deliveries after dark. Delivery fee is due in advance and non-refundable if customer should elect not to buy the item.


Customer must complete performance checklist with representative at the time of pick up or delivery for any warranty to apply. Extended warranties are available at an additional cost. Notice rides on new vehicles and test ride policies for pre-owned vehicles are at the discretion of the ScooterMania representative.

Payment:

Customers may use any payment method that we accept. However we are not responsible for any holds nor delays placed on funds by the third party the customer or buyer decides to use. No item will be released until we actually have received full payment for said item. Money in transit is not money we have received!

ALL SALES ARE FINAL

Purchase of any product from ScooterMania Motorsports Incorporated is acceptance of these terms and guidelines as outlined herein.
