Riding Classes

SMI offers beginner and intermediate private and group riding classes at affordable rates. We can also prepare you with the information and training to take the motorcycle reading test and writing exam.

It is very important to learn the rules of the road as seen from a 2 wheel vehicle, the laws or city ordinances governing mopeds and scooters as well as safety guidelines when riding in traffic. We cover all that more.

Our one-hour classes include instruction on a 50cc scooter or you can bring your own. A written evaluation is provided at the end of each session and upon completion of the training.

Training classes are 3 to 4 sessions at the discretion of the instructor and depending on the rider’s results. A free complimentary instructional session is provided to any customer purchasing a scooter who has never ridden one before.
